As wedding photographer in Tuscany I can assure that beauty isn’t hard to find in this Italian region. Let me be for you not only your personal photographer but also your special guide. Please, breathe and live this beauty in its essence during your big day, and I want capture your feeling in the photographs making the day eternal too. An unforgettable memory of a unique experience with your parents and closest friends.
For sure Tuscany is not limited to Florence. This beautiful city is just a small piece of this wonderful Italian region. How many lovely photo shoots I have realized in the Tuscan countryside …
So, first of all, take your time to choose your “tailor made” wedding location: do you wish to realize your special event on the sea? In the mountains or on the shores of a lake? For sure you’ve heard about several charming small towns in the wonderful Chianti hills, such as Greve in Chianti, Radda, Castellina, Gaiole, to name but a few and then. The Chiantishire is for sure ideal for a dreamy countryside wedding and believe me, that’s also the perfect ambient for a successful wedding photography service.
If you get ahead with a DIY wedding, please, think about which type of wedding venue you would like to rent for your happening, as Tuscany offers many possibilities where realize events: Renaissance Villas, Medieval Castles, Country Farm-Houses, Luxury Hotels … just let your dream comes true.
If you are looking for something out of the “ordinary”, I suggest a photo shoot in the suggestive Crete Senesi (literally “Senese clays”) where the distinctive grey coloration of the soil gives the landscape a lunar appearance. This area of Tuscany consists of a range of soft hills and colorful vineyards among medieval villages and famous towns, so perfect sceneries for great photo reportages.
I will also capture your fun making some photo shots during your wine tasting in one of the ancient cellars in the beautiful Montalcino village or during a tour in Siena declared for its beauty a “World Heritage Site”. Another place to discover in this area, it’s the small walled medieval hill town of Monteriggioni where you can enjoying a typical Tuscan meal in a local restaurant and, why not, organize here your wedding reception.
If you are lovers of the Medieval atmosphere and if you are dreaming to celebrate your marriage in a town hall unique for its intrinsic beauty, I highly invite you to get married in the “Town of Fine Towers”, i.e. San Gimignano which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls form offers an unforgettable skyline.
Instead if you don’t want that your civil ceremony seems mere a “bureaucratic procedure” or if you are looking for a special place where renew your vows or have a romantic symbolic ceremony or an intimate blessing, you can enjoy the unique experience celebrating the ceremony in the roofless gothic Abbey of Saint Galgano (Abbazia di San Galgano). Characterized by lush green fields and sunflowers in the summertime and by colorful vineyards and olive trees at the beginning of autumn, the surroundings here are elegantly picturesque, like natural movie sets. So your photos will be unique for sure, true masterpieces. Trust me …. Tuscany offers in each season a variety of different colors in landscapes, which take your breath away!
Tuscany, with its hillside landscapes and medieval hamlets, is also famous for its romantic roads that cut through wheat fields, expanses of wildflowers, vineyards and cypress trees.
So we can go across the country on a Volkswagen Cabriolet to find inspiration, discover new places and come up with really valuable wedding pictures in the end. I love to propose an event through a color or theme and get a collection of snapshots representing it. If I pick for ex the theme of the “countryside” or the color “blue”, I go all day long photographing things with this touch or “blue things”. The aim is to connote the event through elements that express at best the day, as well as the couple essence and their unique style.
This Italian region offers also many exclusive locations along the sea, of exceptional beauty so if you are looking for a beach wedding, or a renew of votes as a waypoint of your cruise, you can’t miss Versilia with its main coastal cities Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi where “La Bella Vita” of Fellini has always been linked with the tradition and hospitality of this coastline.
From here we easily reach the nearby towns of Pisa and Lucca. Pisa, with its rich historical and cultural heritage, has not only sanctuaries for religious rites but also considerable places for civil ceremonies, such as Palaces in the background of the Arno river, deconsecrated abbeys or historic Gardens opened in the heart of the city fortress. In Pisa the Piazza dei Miracoli, formally known as Piazza del Duomo (inscribed on the World Heritage List ) is for sure a location where realize stunning snapshots. You two will be the only protagonists between incredible monuments, i.e. the Cathedral in the center of the Piazza (square), the Baptistery in the foreground and the worldwide famous leaning tower in the background.
And, for all those who want to live a fairy tale, at least for one day, nothing sounds more romantic than a wedding in Lucca or in one of the historical villas just outside the town, called also the “city of 100 churches”. The ancient walk-able city walls surrounding the “Medieval Lucca” offer the perfect stage for a top photo shoot since from there, the monuments can be seen from a different perspective, especially in the sunset when everything becomes even more cute and unique.
Italy, Tuscany …. can you imagine a more romantic place to declare your undying love?
As your personal event photographer I will capture each memorable moment, each emotional expression and make these eternal through pictures, i.e. storytelling using photographs.
As your wedding photographer, I will have care that both of you as well as your relatives and friends are natural and completely relaxed during the whole photographic reportage, in perfect photojournalistic style, i.e. mine style, mine photograp
